My 28th, Birthday trip

Yep!!! Jeremy took me to Vegas for my birthday!!! I have wanted to go here for years!!!
We are so cute together!
The Mirage!! So pretty we stayed for one of their shows, it was God bless the USA! I cried it was so pretty!
The biggest Chocolate water fall in the Belagio! Loved going to all of the free stuff in Vegas!
The ceiling of the Belagio hotel check in, they are all hand blown glass flowers.
Shows you how big the chocolate waterfall was!
Jeremys favorite part of the trip!!! He loves ships! Can you believe that Treasure Island does not sell Pirate ships!
Jeremy took me to Pampas for dinner on my birthday! It was sooo good! It is a Brazilian restaurant in Planet Hollywood.
HEHE we ran in to Captain Jack Sparrow! Jeremy loved it. There is a great story that goes along with this pic. So if you want to know what it is, email me and i will send it to you.
Jeremy with Elvis
The view from our room! We had the perfect view of the strip and Coke world!
Had to go and visit Elvis and his pink catalac!

Our hotel! Jeremy and I have always loved castles! One of our goals is to go to Scotland Spain and any where else that has a castle. For our honey moon he took us to the Castle Creek in in Sandy. So he wanted to stick with the castle theme. (Can you believe a place with the Castle theme, does not sell castles!)
A very pretty rose by the mall on the strip! I love how it looked against the night sky!
The statue of liberty made out of either Jelly Bellys or jelly beans! Did not get the bottom part of it for there was some girls who would not move!
I loved this HUGE wall waterfall!
Jeremy found a great deal on tickets, so he took me to see the Jabbawockeez for my birthday!! So much fun watching them!
This was at the Aria (I think thats how its spelled) It was a huge wall waterfall!!! Jeremy and I love waterfalls! We could have stayed there all night, just listening to it!
Jeremy and I with the coke bear! Man he was cute!
You just cant go to Vegas with out going to Coke world!!! Man wish we had a million dollars to spend there!
Took this on the way to Vegas. I love the red rocks!

Our trip was pretty cheap! We got a great deal on the hotel. (Which came with 2 free buffets) Then we hit a lot of the free things to do on the strip. We spent money on my birthday dinner. Then a few dollars on souvenirs. And surprisingly enough we only gambled 3 dollars the hole time we were there. There are so many things to do besides gambling! We had so many things to see on our list, we did not even get through 1/4th of it!!

Febuary 2012

My mom had a Birthday on the 25th, so we went to Chuck E Cheeses to celebrate! This is Ashley with her best friend (and cousin) Kambri. They had a blast together!!
We went to the Salt Lake Temple for my brothers best friends wedding (did you get that? yah confusing I know) Got this pic of Jeremy by the temple.

My singles ward friends and us all went to Classic Fun Center, for a play date. My girls had a blast and are BEGGING me to take them back!
This year with our tax return we got a king size bed!!! Jeremy said our other bed hurt his back. I told him if we got another one it will have to be king size, for I dont want to be sleep on just a couple of inches of the bed.

Casaya and Ashley both have Mouth, Foot, and Hand disease. Ashley has it just in her mouth and throat (that we now of so far that has developed) And she is in a lot of pain, Casaya on the other hand, has big blisters on her hands and feet and is as happy as she can be (until you try to put shoes or socks on her) Casaya seems to have a very high pain tolerance. We never know when she has a ear infection, strep throat, or any thing else. She is always happy and never shows that she is in pain. While at times that could be nice for she does not get whinny when she is sick, many many times she ends up getting really really sick before we even know that something is wrong.

Not a fan of soccer

I am not a fan of soccer, but there is a new song out for the Real Salt Lake, it makes me want to go to one game to hear 20,000 people singing the song!!!! No surprise my nieces and nephews from Idaho, have the song memorized!!!!! Its a great song that I love to play in the morning!!! Gets me up and awake and ready to start my day!!!!

Trust in the Lord!

I found this story on my friends face book page so I had to post it! We all need reminding every once in a while!

Me (in a tizzy): God, can I ask you something?
GOD: Sure.
Me: Promise you won't get mad?
GOD: I promise.
Me (frustrated): Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?
GOD: What do you mean?

Well I woke up late,
GOD: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start,
GOD: Okay....
Me (growling): At lunch, they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait.
GOD: Hmmmm..
Me: On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call .
GOD: All right
Me (loudly): And to top it all off, when I got home, I just wanted to Soak my feet in my foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work. Nothing Went right today! Why did you do that?
GOD: Well let me see..... the death angel was at your bed this morning And I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let You sleep through that.
Me (humbled): Oh...
GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on
Your route that might have hit you if you were on the road .
Me (ashamed): ............
GOD: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work .
Me (embarrassed): Oh.....
GOD: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going To give a false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered .
Me (softly): I see God .
GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short that was going to throw Out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be In the dark.
Me: I'm sorry God.
GOD: Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me.........in all things, the Good and the bad.
Me: I WILL trust you God .
GOD: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than Your plan.
Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today.
GOD: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children.

Hair Cuts and Buffalo wings

Jeremy took us out to dinner tonight! (first time in a long time!) Man it was a good place to eat! Has to be my 2nd or 3rd favorite place!

Casaya LOVES buffalo wings! She is the pickiest eater ever and she at all 6 of the wings! it was a huge shock to us! So now when she refuses to eat we can take her to get wings!

Ashley decided to cut her hair and Casayas hair yesterday! I was so mad!!! So we took the girls to cookie cutters today to try and fix their hair! They tried to fix Casayas but there was not a whole lot they could do to it, so they trimmed up the back and cut one side a little shorter. Hopefuly her hair will grow out fast so we can get both sides to match!
Ash after her hair was cut

Before and after shots of Ashleys hair cut! Last time she cut her hair we told her that if she did it again we would cut it short (she wants really long hair like Repunzel so we thought this would be a good punishment) Well after we got her hair cut Ashley took a look in the mirror and said "Mommy I look just like Repunzel!" (the last part of the movie where Ryder cuts her hair so the evil mom cant use her any more) Well crap!! There went my idea of a punishment! So I told her that if she cuts her hair again we will shave her bald. She did not like that so keeping our fingers, toes, hair, eye balls, and any thing else we can cross, crossed, that she will not cut her hair again!!!

IF YOU GIVE A MOM A MUFFIN

"If you give a mom a muffin, she'll want a cup of cocoa to go with it. She'll pour herself some. Her three-year-old will spill the cocoa. She'll wipe it up. Wiping the floor, she will find dirty socks. She'll remember she has to do laundry. When she puts the laundry in the washer, she'll trip ove...r boots and bump into ......the freezer. Bumping into the freezer will remind her... she has to plan supper. She will get out a pound of hamburger. She'll look for her cookbook. (101 Things To Make With A Pound Of Hamburger.) The cookbook is sitting under a pile of mail. She will see the phone bill, which is due tomorrow. She will look for her checkbook. The checkbook is in her purse that is being dumped out by her two-year-old. She'll smell something funny. She'll change the two-year-old. While she is changing the two-year-old the phone will ring. Her five-year-old will answer and hang up. She'll remember that she wants to phone a friend to come for cocoa. Thinking of cocoa will remind her that she was going to have a cup. She will pour herself some. And chances are, if she has a cup of cocoa, her kids will have eaten the muffin that went with it." by Kathy Fictorie

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Ashley turned 5 today!!!! I cant believe she is that old! Did I not just have her yesterday?!?! She has grown so much this year! She went from being my little Ashley to my big girl Ashley. She loves to help take care of her sister, that includes changing diapers (with moms help of course), she likes to bathe her, dress her, do her hair. She is a great big sister. This year she developed an attitude, (if she is any thing like her mom was HEAVEN HELP US ALL) so we are trying to put a stop to that one as fast as possible. She is very smart for her age and has a memory like you cant believe! (she still will tell us stories about something that happened when she was 1 1/2! Her favorite thing this year were, Strawberry shortcake, Rapunzel and Princess and the frog. She loves to sing songs and she can probly sing almost all of the Christmas songs by memory. Her favorite holidays this year are Halloween and Christmas! Its amazing, she was only 4 and she all ready has a testimony of the church. She also can recognize that all people are equal (we were watching the help and she wanted to know why they weren't treating the lady's very nice. So I explained to her the best I could and she said " they should treat her nice, heavenly father loves her and so do I") what a sweet heart! She has the biggest heart of any one I know!
I love you so much Ashley! Thank you for letting me be your mom!!! I cant wait to see what you do this next year! I love you!

Christmas activities!

Jeremy and I at the Conference center waiting for the First Presidency Christmas Devotional!
The Fist presidency up on the stand with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir! What an awesome night! I was so grateful for the opportunity to listen to our Prophet and be in the same room as him! He is such a cute man! One thing I learned about Christmas, it is very rarely ever perfect, but most of all I learned not to burn down the curtains! (Thanks Dieter Ukdorf!) If you missed the devotional look it up! It was great!
Jeremy and his parents out side of the Confrence Center, they were able to go with us, and so was Jeremys brother Josh and his wife. Thanks to my mom she stayed home with the kids!!!
This is a pic of Casaya, we love it when she makes this face and this is the first time we were able to get a pic of it! They arnt the best pics but you can see how cute she was when she makes the face!

We were given a great opportunity to go to Thanksgiving Point as a family to see the lights! We had a blast! It was so cold but definitely worth the cold to see the lights from the wagon ride! I loved it and so did the kids! Casaya got scared right at the first when we started moving, (I think the part that scared her is the horses moved, and she was not expecting that) But we had a blast! I wish I could have gotten better pics but all of mine came out blurry!
Jeremy and the girls in front of a snow flake ice skuplture.
Sorry out of order, This is Jeremy and I out side of the Conference Center.
Casaya looking at Santas reindeer for the first time!
Love my pretty girl! She is growing up so fast!
I love the love that goes on between these two! This is the first pic that I have gotten of Casaya hugging Ashley! LOVE it!!!
Ash in front of a really pretty Christmas Tree at Thanksgiving point!
Two of Santas reindeer came to visit us from the North Pole! We would like to introduce you to Comet and Cupid! They are a lot smaller then I thought they would be! I was expecting something bigger like a moose, But they are about as big as a miniature horse!!! (Maybe even smaller the that) Its a wonder that they can even pull Santa and all of the presents!

Christmas arrived in Eagle Mountain!

Ashleys two favorite things in the world! Santa Clause and Fire trucks!!!
This is how Santa comes to Eagle Mountain! Forget the sleigh, who need it when you got a FIRE TRUCK!!! This is Ashleys favorite day of the year! Its what she talks about all year long!
Ashley waiting in line to see Santa! She is talking with the "Princesses" She was in paradise to have both in the same night!
Ashley, Santa, Mrs. Clause, and Casaya, in the Eagle Mountain City Hall! Every year they have a tree lighting ceremony and Santa comes to help turn on the lights, then he visits with all of the children!
"When I grow up I am going to be a fire girl" When Ashley was 2 we went to my moms school to help her. Well it happened that on the day we went They were going on a field trip to the fire station. So we tagged along with them. Well that sparked a little fire in Ashley's heart. Now she LOVES fire trucks. She gets so excited just seeing one and when she hears one WATCH OUT, she may just be screeching louder then the truck!
