Savana Diane Foy

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our Family!

                Savana Diane Foy

We welcomed Savana to the world on December 27th at 6:22 pm. She was 7 lbs. 9 oz.( she is our biggest baby, Ashley was 7 lbs 6 oz and Casaya was 4 pounds)  and was 19inches long. She came out with a great set of lungs!

We brought her in to this world early for I once again had pre-eclampcia. My blood pressure kept going up. And about a month before we had her. I went to the hospital with really high Blood pressure, and a REALLY  REALLY  bad headache. Well the hospital that my dr delivers at will only deliver if you are past 34 weeks and I was 33 weeks along. So they life flighted me to the University of Utah hospital. I was there for almost a week. They were able to get my blood pressure controlled after a few days. But I was still left with a very bad headache. I had that headache for four weeks (until I delivered) then as soon as I had Savana, with in an hour the headache was gone! YAY!!! The headache was not the normal kind, it was very painful and would not go away even with very strong headache pills.

We were on our way to the hospital to have Savana (we had her by C-section) when we got a phone call from Jeremys mom. She was trying to fix her tv and was standing on a chair when her leg went one way and she went the other. It took her three hours to get up stairs to get her phone to call any one. Well she called us. We felt so bad that there was nothing we could do for her. We were all ready on our way to the hospital and it was 1 1/2 until I was scheduled for the surgery. We called my mom and got my mom over there to help her, until Jeremys Dad could get home from work. It turned out she broke two different bones just below her knee.

When we got to the hospital and got checked in, there was about an hour of waiting. They then took us back to the O.R. and started to get me ready for my spinal and epidural. They were having a very hard time trying to get it in, they had to poke my spine 6 different times before the got it in the right spot!!! Let me tell you! OUCH!!! But after I was all numbed up, every thing else went just like clock work. (except for the fact that she had her cord wrapped three times around her neck. So thank goodness we did a c-section She was born with a great set of lungs! She was very unhappy and she was letting us know about it!

After we were in the recovery room and Ashley and Casaya got to come meet their baby sister for the first time. They could not wait to hold her! Casaya was tired and wanted to be held, so my mom held her. While the nurses were checking out Savana my mom tried coming over to talk to me and Casaya kept saying "no Grandma go back" and would point twords the baby. She did not want to leave her any thing.

She has been a very good baby. She loves to be held 24/7. Savana has quite a few nick names all ready: Bana, Vana, Lamb Chops, Lamby, and Ana. She got the nick names Lamb Chops and Lamby because when she gets screaming she sounds just like a baby lamb!

Savana is a great sleeper! She has been on this earth for four days, and two of the nights she has slept through the night! We have to wake her up in the middle of the night just so she can eat!

Here are a few pics we have of her (we have a lot more, but unfortunately I do not have a computer that I can put them on. So these are the ones that I can put on for now, and when we get a new computer, we will put lots of pics up (we will also put up pics of other things as well)

We are still alive!

We are still here! Our computer got a bad virus, and so we have not been able to use the computer :( So until we can aford to fix the computer here is a small glimpse of our lifes for the past 5 months:

Jeremy:
His project closed at ACS (xerox). So he had to switch projects. He is now working for the project CVS Pharmacy. He is in training right now. He is very lost at what is going on, and he is hoping to catch on soon. He had to take a pay cut for this position but we are trying to make the most of what we can. After training he has more training for Workforce, after that hopefuly things will settle down!

Bonnie:
She is getting used to waking up early. She is still not used to it, but doing the best she can. Bonnie has to have IV's twice a day every day. (to find out why keep reading). Not a whole lot going on with Bonnie. She is still loving being a stay at home mom and is very grateful that she gets the opportunity to be home with the kiddos!

Ashley:
Ashley started school last week!!! Its hard to believe that we have a school aged kid on our hands! She has all ready made 3 friends in school: Jade, Jadea, and Jasmine. She has a very nice teacher named Ms. Nemelka. She still wont open up to us very much about school. We will ask her every day what she has learned during school, so just tells us "oh you know stuff" then we will ask her what she had for lunch every day it is the same Chocolate milk. But she wont tell us what she ate. But she is loving school and is always happy to go back! She has a problem waking up to her alarm! Her prob is not that she sleeps through it, her problem is that she wakes up 30-60 minutes BEFORE it goes off! Funny girl! She comes home every day from school just exhausted! So she comes home and takes an hour or two nap every day!

Casaya:
She is lost during the day with out her sister! she keeps walking around the house going "where Ashy go? or Ashy at school?" She is FINALLY starting to talk!!! which is something we thought she would never do. She was in an Early Intervention program to get her caught up with every thing. And now she is doing so well that they are thinking of taking her out of the program! Which is good, but I worry, for yah she is starting to talk but she is still very immature for her age! She loves books and playing with her moms hair! She could do both for hours on end!

Savana:
Savana is due January 15th!!! We can not wait for the arrival of our third little girl!!! (I guess we just dont know how to make boys!)She is loving kicking her mom, and pretending like there is a whole circus in there! She is making her very sick (just like both of her sisters did!) Her mom has to have IV's twice a day with the medican Zofran in it just to be able to eat or drink any thing! Her mom is hoping that she will come two and a half weeks early for two reasons 1- tax break 2- Her dad and sisters birthdays are all in December so she might as well be too!!! Her dad wants her to be born in January just so we have a kids with a diffrent month birthday!

The Family:
WE MOVED!!! We were able to buy a really cute house in West Valley back in June. We love the new house (4 bed 1 bath 1 half bath 1 kitchen 1 living room 1 man-cave) We were very sad to leave are Eagle Mountain home (and still think of it often). But we knew that Jeremy was going to have to take a pay cut, and with how expensive gas is we could not afford the house any longer. But we are hoping one day when we retire, that we can move back out there! But we are loving the West Valley house. We live on a very quite street, so quite, that we never see any one coming or going or out in their yards! Our ward is an older ward, we believe that the average age in our ward is 80-90 years old! Our primary is pretty small there are 6 kids in Ashley's class, but her class is combined with two other classes,( so it is the 4,5,6 year old class) Our old ward it we had (if I remember correctly) over 250 kids in our primary. And there were three classes just for Ashley's age group! But we had a young couple move in after we did. It turns out that we went to the singles ward together! Small world I know! (For those of you that went to the singles ward with me, it is Brian Jones) Our dogs are loving the big back yard! They love to run and chase and actually have room to do it now! But the dogs do not like the noisy big dog that lives right behind us!

So that is the update with our family!

I promise as soon as we get our computer fixed we will up load all of our pictures of what we have been doing! And I promise to TRY and log on about once a month to let you know what we are up to until then!

Take care every one and we miss you!

Family pics by the Bishop

The girls and I

Jeremy and the girls
LOVE this pic of Ashley!!!!!
Unfortunately Casaya would not cooperate for her pics! She did not want her pic taken at all, so this is maybe the best one.
We were made for each other!
HI!! (I am shy)
We still love each other!
I normally hate my photos ( I think I look way to big in them) but I LOVE this one! So sweet!
We love our girls
A happy family... stays together!
The family!!! LOVE the mountains in the back ground! Perfect time of year for there is still some snow on the tops of the mountains.
Love this one!!! Cant wait to have a big one of this hanging up on our wall
For our Relief Society Birthday in March, we had a silent auction, and you can bid on things with the points you have. So the bishop donated his skills to take family photos! I had no idea he was a photographer, but he takes wedding and family photos. Then he also works for the church, and does a lot of the on line things for the church. Our pics turned out great! These are the pics before touch up! So I cant wait to see what he does when they are done! we have close to 300 pics but these are some of the best!

My 28th, Birthday trip

Yep!!! Jeremy took me to Vegas for my birthday!!! I have wanted to go here for years!!!
We are so cute together!
The Mirage!! So pretty we stayed for one of their shows, it was God bless the USA! I cried it was so pretty!
The biggest Chocolate water fall in the Belagio! Loved going to all of the free stuff in Vegas!
The ceiling of the Belagio hotel check in, they are all hand blown glass flowers.
Shows you how big the chocolate waterfall was!
Jeremys favorite part of the trip!!! He loves ships! Can you believe that Treasure Island does not sell Pirate ships!
Jeremy took me to Pampas for dinner on my birthday! It was sooo good! It is a Brazilian restaurant in Planet Hollywood.
HEHE we ran in to Captain Jack Sparrow! Jeremy loved it. There is a great story that goes along with this pic. So if you want to know what it is, email me and i will send it to you.
Jeremy with Elvis
The view from our room! We had the perfect view of the strip and Coke world!
Had to go and visit Elvis and his pink catalac!

Our hotel! Jeremy and I have always loved castles! One of our goals is to go to Scotland Spain and any where else that has a castle. For our honey moon he took us to the Castle Creek in in Sandy. So he wanted to stick with the castle theme. (Can you believe a place with the Castle theme, does not sell castles!)
A very pretty rose by the mall on the strip! I love how it looked against the night sky!
The statue of liberty made out of either Jelly Bellys or jelly beans! Did not get the bottom part of it for there was some girls who would not move!
I loved this HUGE wall waterfall!
Jeremy found a great deal on tickets, so he took me to see the Jabbawockeez for my birthday!! So much fun watching them!
This was at the Aria (I think thats how its spelled) It was a huge wall waterfall!!! Jeremy and I love waterfalls! We could have stayed there all night, just listening to it!
Jeremy and I with the coke bear! Man he was cute!
You just cant go to Vegas with out going to Coke world!!! Man wish we had a million dollars to spend there!
Took this on the way to Vegas. I love the red rocks!

Our trip was pretty cheap! We got a great deal on the hotel. (Which came with 2 free buffets) Then we hit a lot of the free things to do on the strip. We spent money on my birthday dinner. Then a few dollars on souvenirs. And surprisingly enough we only gambled 3 dollars the hole time we were there. There are so many things to do besides gambling! We had so many things to see on our list, we did not even get through 1/4th of it!!

Febuary 2012

My mom had a Birthday on the 25th, so we went to Chuck E Cheeses to celebrate! This is Ashley with her best friend (and cousin) Kambri. They had a blast together!!
We went to the Salt Lake Temple for my brothers best friends wedding (did you get that? yah confusing I know) Got this pic of Jeremy by the temple.

My singles ward friends and us all went to Classic Fun Center, for a play date. My girls had a blast and are BEGGING me to take them back!
This year with our tax return we got a king size bed!!! Jeremy said our other bed hurt his back. I told him if we got another one it will have to be king size, for I dont want to be sleep on just a couple of inches of the bed.

Casaya and Ashley both have Mouth, Foot, and Hand disease. Ashley has it just in her mouth and throat (that we now of so far that has developed) And she is in a lot of pain, Casaya on the other hand, has big blisters on her hands and feet and is as happy as she can be (until you try to put shoes or socks on her) Casaya seems to have a very high pain tolerance. We never know when she has a ear infection, strep throat, or any thing else. She is always happy and never shows that she is in pain. While at times that could be nice for she does not get whinny when she is sick, many many times she ends up getting really really sick before we even know that something is wrong.

Not a fan of soccer

I am not a fan of soccer, but there is a new song out for the Real Salt Lake, it makes me want to go to one game to hear 20,000 people singing the song!!!! No surprise my nieces and nephews from Idaho, have the song memorized!!!!! Its a great song that I love to play in the morning!!! Gets me up and awake and ready to start my day!!!!

Trust in the Lord!

I found this story on my friends face book page so I had to post it! We all need reminding every once in a while!

Me (in a tizzy): God, can I ask you something?
GOD: Sure.
Me: Promise you won't get mad?
GOD: I promise.
Me (frustrated): Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?
GOD: What do you mean?

Well I woke up late,
GOD: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start,
GOD: Okay....
Me (growling): At lunch, they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait.
GOD: Hmmmm..
Me: On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call .
GOD: All right
Me (loudly): And to top it all off, when I got home, I just wanted to Soak my feet in my foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work. Nothing Went right today! Why did you do that?
GOD: Well let me see..... the death angel was at your bed this morning And I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let You sleep through that.
Me (humbled): Oh...
GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on
Your route that might have hit you if you were on the road .
Me (ashamed): ............
GOD: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work .
Me (embarrassed): Oh.....
GOD: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going To give a false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered .
Me (softly): I see God .
GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short that was going to throw Out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be In the dark.
Me: I'm sorry God.
GOD: Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me.........in all things, the Good and the bad.
Me: I WILL trust you God .
GOD: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than Your plan.
Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today.
GOD: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children.

Hair Cuts and Buffalo wings

Jeremy took us out to dinner tonight! (first time in a long time!) Man it was a good place to eat! Has to be my 2nd or 3rd favorite place!

Casaya LOVES buffalo wings! She is the pickiest eater ever and she at all 6 of the wings! it was a huge shock to us! So now when she refuses to eat we can take her to get wings!

Ashley decided to cut her hair and Casayas hair yesterday! I was so mad!!! So we took the girls to cookie cutters today to try and fix their hair! They tried to fix Casayas but there was not a whole lot they could do to it, so they trimmed up the back and cut one side a little shorter. Hopefuly her hair will grow out fast so we can get both sides to match!
Ash after her hair was cut

Before and after shots of Ashleys hair cut! Last time she cut her hair we told her that if she did it again we would cut it short (she wants really long hair like Repunzel so we thought this would be a good punishment) Well after we got her hair cut Ashley took a look in the mirror and said "Mommy I look just like Repunzel!" (the last part of the movie where Ryder cuts her hair so the evil mom cant use her any more) Well crap!! There went my idea of a punishment! So I told her that if she cuts her hair again we will shave her bald. She did not like that so keeping our fingers, toes, hair, eye balls, and any thing else we can cross, crossed, that she will not cut her hair again!!!
