When one door closes another door opens!

I will first tell you about the door that closed. In August 2011, our family is supposed to be going to Spain for my brother in laws retirement from the Navy. Our plans have changed and it might be only Jeremy going, unless a huge miracle happens, and we have a a way to get Ashley and I some plane tickets. What is the reason that Jeremy is the only one going and not Ashley and I you ask? Well let me tell you!
WE ARE GETTING A HOUSE!!!!!!!!
You read that right. We were qualified for $150,000.00 So we started looking at houses and town houses down in Eagle mountain. well we ended up finding a town house that we fell in love with! It is a three bedroom two and a half bathroom house. In the basement we will be putting in another half bath. So we would have two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. The bed rooms are huge! We will have a master bath, off of the master bath, there is a huge walk in closet! I am so excited! We will be closing on June 10th then we plan on moving a week or two later if you would like to come and help us move! We will appreciate the help! We will also have our very own garage! Its only a one car garage, but hey we still have one! And then we will have a very small back yard but hey ITS OURS!!!

Ashleys cute sayings for today

Ashley is saying a hole bunch of cute sayings today, two of which consist of is

"I ripped one" after she farted, (thanks honey, for teaching her that one)

and the next one is after I changed her butt.

"Ahhh, all better mommy, thank you, no more poppy in my diaper"

and the last one she grabbed my face looked me right in the eyes and said

"I bub you eber eber eber and eber" (she cant say her v) then she gave me a kiss and a hug, that alone made sure I will have a happy mothers day

Ashley likes to try and be independent now, So the other day i let her dress her self. This is what she came up with, two swimming suites on just her arms, and shorts not pulled all the way up. so cute. I let her run around like that all day, for we were not leaving the house. She was so proud of her self!

Still waiting!!

Still waiting to here from the mortgage guy! He is taking forever! Jeremy called him this morning and he told Jeremy that He has 6 appointments today, and over 100 phone calls to return. So he will "try" and run it today! Talk about stress and not being fair! We told him two weeks ago that we were going to be doing this today, and he is the one who told us that we were going to do it today. Man this is stressful, knowing our luck he wont pull it until tom! or even Wednesday, and on wednesday we wanted to go and look at houses, So hopefuly this guy will get his act in gear and run our credit today so we can find out how much we qualify for!!! So please keep us in your prayers, that he will call today!!

Todays the day!

Please keep us in your prayers! We will be pulling our credit to day to see if we will qualify for a house and how much we will qualify for. we are so nervous, I think I am more nervous then I was on my wedding day. I just hope and pray that we will get good news today!!!

Count down is on

So the count down is on...
Seven days until they will be able to pull or credit. And we will be able to find out how much we will qualify for, for our house. Then nine days from now if every thing goes well, we will be able to start looking at houses down in Eagle Mountain. Keep you fingers, toes, arms, legs, hair, every thing you got to cross, keep them crossed that we can find something we love, and something we can afford.

On an unrelated topic, Ashley has the flu or something. She has not been feeling well since yesterday. She was running around having fun, then she threw up, and has not been feeling well ever since. Poor little baby girl get batter soon! Mama loves you!!

What been going on in our life....

A lot, at the same time, nothing much.


We found a house that we fell in love with, put in an offer, the bank accepted it. So we started to get ready for all the stuff you have to do that comes with buying a house. Well last week we asked if we could get an extension on the closing date, so that we could make sure our financing could go through. Well the bank turned that down and said that every thing would have to be done by May 1st. So we thought ok that is due able, will be a little rush, but still doable. Well the next day the bank came through and said that because we asked for the extension, they dont think we would be ready by may first, so the released us from the contract and put the house back on the market. OF course we were devastated, but theres not much that we can do. So some time in May we will get back with the realitor and try again. In the mean time we will be letting our credit clear up a little bit.

My back has been killing me lately, it is really weird. Its my lower part of my spine. and it feels like it is broken in half, I am not even joking. It hurts so bad!!! I hate it for I have the hardest time lately trying to keep up with Ashley, and now I feel like I cant even lift her for my back hurts so bad. I want to go to the dr, but I am pretty sure I know what he will say, " You are getting to fat, loose the weight and you will feel better" And I refuse to go to the dr so he can tell me I am fat and then he cant do any thing to help me. Does any one have any suggestions of what I could do to help relieve some of the pain?
So I have been suffering for almost a month now, but I still cant bring my self to go in. I have tried almost every stupid diet out there, I have been excersizing, when it is cold out side I go up and down our stairs several times a day, just so I can get moving, now that it is warmer out side I will be walking out side more. So its not that I am not trying to excersize but its just this stupid weight that wont come off. I talked to one of my friends who is a nurse a few weeks ago, and she said that it might be why I have gained so much weight since I have had Ashley is because when I was pregnant with her, my body litterly went in to starvation mode, I could not keep any thing down. And so any food that would stay down, it would store as fat. Well once I had Ashley my body was still storing the food thinking it was in starvation mode still. Which it makes complete sence to me. But I still want this weight down. I dont want to be a size 2 but even a size 16 would be nice, Hopefully in a few years I will be able to get insurence to pay for my lap band, or I will be able to get a loan to pay for it.

Lately with all that has been going on I am starting to realize just how much of a miracle baby Ashley truly is. So when we started trying again last year we thought it would be a piece of cake, but over a year later, still no baby. So going through all of this, I am starting to realize just how lucky we are to have Ashley in our lifes. Even though she has hit the terrible twos and can be a huge pain in the butt sometimes, I feel so blessed that she is my daughter and that I am able to be a mom to her. I love you Ashley! Thank you so much for choosing me to be your mom! I love you!

Either then that not a whole lot has been going on with us. Just living the day to day stuff.

Until we meet again...

Recently Jeremy and I had a really close friend of ours pass away, and her funeral was today. She was actuly Jeremys co-worker. But she loved us and she loved our little Ashley. We grew close to her over the years, She never forgot our birthdays, and every year on Ashleys birthday she would get her a present. For Ashleys first birthday, she got her a little dog that sings, if you push on its paws ears tummy or nose, it will play diffrent songs or diffrent games, it also runs through colors. Ashley loves that dog! At time the dog can be really anoying and I feel like I just want to throw it out. But now I am glad that I did not, for it is a great reminder of her. She loved animal, so it was fitting that she gave Ashley a dog. Even though she will be missed very much, I have faith that we will see her again, and that right now Ashley has another angel looking out after her. We miss you Grandma Norma!

Norma Jean Eschler Loder
Norma Jean Eschler Loder 1939 ~ 2009 Our sweet and kind Norma Jean Loder, 69, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2009. She was surrounded by her loving family. Norma was born October 6, 1939 in Green River, Wyoming to Alvin and Selma Eschler. On April 19, 1963 she was sealed for all time and eternity to Larry William Loder in the Logan Temple. Together they were blessed with four wonderful boys. They grew up to be strong and caring men. Norma had a lifelong close relationship with her three sisters Wanda (deceased), Barbara and Karen. They enjoyed many activities together and created wonderful memories. Norma was a very loving, kind, and giving person. She was always helping those in need; whether it was an animal, stranger, or friend. Norma was an example of what charity and unconditional love is all about. She found love and joy in her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved with all of her heart and soul. She is survived by her husband, Larry; sons Todd (April), Darin, Ryan (Stephanie) and David (Ami); 11 grandchildren and two great-grand-children. She is also survived by sisters Barbara (Paul) Wainwright and Karen (Ralph) Sweat. She also had many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Wanda Jones. We will always remember Norma's kind heart, sparkling brown eyes, and her infectious giggles. We love and miss you already! Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South on Monday April 20th, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to services on Monday.

My sister and I have the privilege of having our birthdays right next to each other. Mine is on the 27th and hers on the 28th. So for our party we went to Iggys to watch the Jazz game. It was a load of fun and we had the coolest waitress. She turned 33 and I turned 25!

A house?

Well we went to the bank today to see if we could qualify for a house, and WE DID!!! But I only qualified for 120 which is not bad considering our credit. But the bank said that if we did an FHA loan we could get more. So we are trying that. I know it is probably to soon but I found a house that I love all ready and it is 110. So I am going to be making some calls tomorrow to see if we can go and take a tour of the house. Hopefully it will work out! It is a 4 bed 3 bad 2500 sq feet, So I am praying my heart out we can get that house! Here is a pic of the house, but it is not finished yet. So keep that in mind as you look at it!

Just wanted to say Congratulations to two of my cousins who got engaged, over the past month, Congrats Ryan and Aaron!! I hope you will find a life time of Happiness with Stephanie and Rebecca!

I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

I didn't want to put her down.

when I couldn't stop the hurt.!
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.

Like the above poem states, How much it means to be a mom, you can never truly put in to words that you feel when your little one comes up to you and says "I love you Mom".

I love you Ashley! Thank you for teaching me to be a better person, thank you for helping me to learn patients. And thank you so much for all your wonderful hugs and words of encouragement. You may only be two, but you have taught me more in your short two years about love, then I have known before you came down to join our family. I cant wait for the next 18 years, you make me so proud! I love you princess head!!

Date Night

Jeremy decided today that it has been a long time since we had date night. So he took me to the Chinas gormet, it was a pretty good place I had not been there for a long time. We got my mom to watch Ashley and we went out. It was so nice just to have the two of us and not to have a two year old climbing all over us. Thank you for the fun night honey! I love you!

Sinus infection

I have had a horrible sinus infection for almost a month now, three three and a half weeks. No matter what I have tried it will do go away. I talked to my dr got a prescription for amoxacillian, I have taken all of the pills and it is still not gone. I have done what the dr said, and that was to drink Peppermint tea, (I know that my religion asks us not to drink it, and I had a very hard time agreeing with doing it, but if the dr said it would help I will try it as long as I dont get in the habit of it, Which I wont for I cant stand the stuff!!!) So I drank it and it helped a speck, but not enough to do it again. So now I am suffering with the infection, and it has gotten so bad that the pressur is building up so much that I now have double vision, which might explain some of my typing mistakes, sorry about that! So any one have any home remadies that work? I will be going back to the dr on monday or wednesday when ever she can get me in. But in the mean time, I have to suffer with this dang infection!

Do you know any thing easy to cook?

For any one who has met me knows I can not cook worth anything. Does any one out there have any good recipes that I could use?

Prayers needed please.

Jeremy's work is talking about out sourcing his job. If that happens he will be taking a huge pay cut or will be loosing his job all together. We need your prays in hope that A- he will be able to keep his job and they will not out source his job. or B- He will be able to find a new job that will have good insurance and partway good pay. If you could keep us in your prayers we will apprisiate it!

Ashleys Hair DOO!!!

Today I was actuly able to get Ashley to sit down long enough for me to be able to do her hair. I put on mama mia, that is the one and only show I can get her to sit down and watch the whole thing, So I put that on and I did her hair, so cute! I think it is cute anyways I dont have a real good crafty hands, I can envision what I want but then my hands never couoperate. But I think it still turnd out well.
She was so mad at me for she was trying to watch Mia when I was taking her photo.

Daughter for Sale! (not really)

Any one want a daughter? She has been the naughtiest little girl lately, I think the terrible twos are really starting to hit. I can see why they call it the terrible twos. I love Ashley and I will never ever sell her , but heaven knows some times I am ready to.

In the pic below you will see a blue railing on the floor, well that used to be on the side of her bed. She broke that off, it was kind of loose any ways but she still broke it off.
We did have her room clean at one point, her stuffed animals were in a neat pile her cloths were in a neat pile, but now you cant tell where one pile starts and the other ends, Man she likes making messes for her mom to clean up. And she thought she was cute, each time I went to go and take a pick she would get in the way and smile, like she thought haha look what I did I am so cute. AHHHHHH!
You cant really see the next pic that well but I still had to take it. Ashley and staked up all of her stuffed animals and climbed up and got down the crayons, well she decided she wanted to color, so she colored her wall by her bed! She also decided to color on her sheets. LITTLE SNOT!

She may be the biggest pain but I will never be able to give her up! I love you so much Ashley! (Even though you can stress me out!)

VALENTINES DAY FUN!!!!

Happy late Valentines Day!!! We had such a jam packed day that I did not get a chance to sit down and blog about it until now! We woke up that morning and I made a Valentines day hunt for Jeremy and Ashley, It is a tradition that my mom started way back when, and I had always known growing up that I would like to pass that tradition down to my kids.

This is a pic of Ashley looking for her clues. I hid one in one of her fav shows and so then she insisted on caring it around with her.
These were Ashleys Valentines day presents. She got a fridge phonics, Which is a magnetic item that goes on the friedge, then it has a couple of diffrent ways to use it, the first is you can put the letters in the center, It will tell you what letter it is and what sound it makes, the second way to play it is there is a little green button on the right hand side and if you push it it will sing the whole alphabet song for you.

This is a present that Jeremy got me for Valentines day. I have been complaing to him so much lately about how much I want a dog, well he got me this for that one reason. Our landlords (my parents) dont want a dog in the house, which I dont understand. We used to have a dog Mindi, and I remeber she was a BAD dog! But I dont understand why we cant get one that is kennel trained and potty trained. But hey they say no. But that wont stop me from wishing and praying that some day soon I will have a real live dog to call my own!
This is Jeremy standing with his Valentines day present. I got him a stuffed Monkey! It is a tradition that every year I get him a monkey. I usuly get some sort of sining monkey, but I could not find any cute ones this year so I got him this one instead.
We got my mom to watch Ashley so that Jeremy and I could go out on our date. (Thanks Mommy!)

For lunch Jeremy took me out to eat at Olive Garden. SOOOO good!!!! So while we were waiting for our food to come I took Jeremys photo.
This is a chicken soup that I had it is kind of like chicken and dumplings.
Here is what Jeremy and I both had to eat, CHICKEN SKAMPI! We love it, SO YUMMY! It has a garlic sause which is to die for!!
Then after lunch we hopped on tracks and went down town, to see what else but.....
MONSTER TRUCKS!!!
I know not that romantic, but I LOVE monster trucks. And so he surprised me with tickets. I was so happy that I got to go. I was hoping and hoping that he would get me tickets, but I really doubted he would for we are broke right now. But he some how found the money or saved it, not really sure which he did, and got us tickets! Jeremy took me to my first monster truck show over five years ago. And when I first heard about it I was kind of up set that he was taking me to see some dumb old trucks. Well once I got there and the show started, I started to fall in love with them. To this day I can not tell you WHY I like monster trucks, There is just something in my soul that wants the loud noise and the trucks. So I would highly recomend going out and seeing a show next time they are in town! You may be like me and think oh they are so dumb, why would any one want to go and see that. But once you see them they will get in to your blood.
This first truck is called BULLDOZER he was a ok truck not my favorite.
This truck has to be my new favorite truck.(sorry Gravedigger) his name is BACKWORDS BOB. He would do every thing one the course backwords, It was so cool to watch him. This was the first time I have seen him, but I am hoping WONT be the last!
This truck is called the AIR BORNE RANGER. of course provided by the Air force.
This truck is BLUE THUNDER, I am told he is the next big truck. He was the over all winner at our show. He was pretty cool to watch.
Here is the jumping contest. They line up at the line and when they say go they see how high and how far they can jump. So cool to watch. The car on the right hand side is from Utah, I am sad that I did not get a good close up of this is car. He is actuly a car and not a truck.
I love this photo, if only the stupid popcorn guy was not in the way but I still got a pretty good shot of BLUE THUNDER and MAVERICK jumping.
This is one of the motor cross jumpers that they had there, He is completly off of is bike and just hanging on to the handle bars,while in the air. I wish the rest would have turned out better and I also wish that I had a better zoom on my camera.

Our home town hero MAVERIK!!! Yay Maverik! It was sad on the very last round, Maverik went off of a huge jump and he ended up hurting something, So he was not able to compete for the winners spot. But we were still proud of him!

Jeremy really wanted me get me in a pic in front of the pink cars. It was funny I was talking to Jeremy a couple of days before and I was telling him if I could design my own car, it would be a pink Dodge caravan or a pink Dodge 4X4.

Then after the monster trucks we hopped back on tracks and headed back to our house to pick up Ashley. Then we headed over to Jeremy parents house to spend time with them. They made us chicken enchaladas for dinner (ymmy) then the boys went down stairs to watch the NBA all stars game, and the girls staid up stairs and watched MAMA MIA. So we had a blast. We also had Matt and Suzi over to spend time with us which was a blast!

So that was our Valentines Day in a nut shell!

Flower or Flour....

Jeremy came home from work today and he had surprised me with PRETTY pink roses!!! I love them! I feel like a princess every time I look at them! This is the first part of my valentines day. We will do what ever else we have planned tomorrow! I cant wait to see what we are going to do!!!

Speaking of flowers, I have a diffrent type of flower story. Last night I had to make cookies for Jeremys work, so after making six batches as I was rolling them out to cut them, Ashley decided that she would like to help! This is the result of her helping me! So cute!
We were right there making sure she did not get it all over the house, but it kept her busy so that I could finish making the cookies!
